Ms. Arfaa graduated from Smith College in 1994 and the Syracuse University College of Law in 1997 with honors. She has devoted her career to litigation involving medical malpractice – the first three years defending doctors and hospitals against malpractice claims and the last fourteen representing patients against doctors and hospitals. Her unique background has given her great insight into how malpractice claims are often defended. This insight has served her well in the courtroom as she has received many record-setting jury verdicts in the state.
Ms. Arfaa provides caring and exemplary representation for her clients across the state of Maryland. She also litigates matters in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Julia Arfaa relies on her knowledgeable staff to seek justice for her clients. Adrian Vansickel, an attorney in the practice, began working as an estate and Medicaid Long Term Care paralegal over fifteen years ago. Her paralegal experience subsequently expanded to include guardianship, trusts and secured transactions. Currently, she uses this knowledge to assist the needs of the firm’s clients in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Adrian also manages the firm’s administrative responsibilities. Denise Greeley, a paralegal with the firm, has extensive experience with client communications, answering written discovery requests, and obtaining all necessary medical records and bills to successfully pursue medical malpractice claims.
