ARFAA Law Group is a boutique Plaintiff’s medical malpractice firm located in the heart of Clipper Mill in Baltimore City. In 2013, Ms. Arfaa founded ARFAA Law Group with the goal of offering superb representation to individuals and families who have been the victims of medical negligence and other types of catastrophic personal injury.

For almost three decades, Ms. Arfaa has received record-setting jury awards in all types of malpractice cases – including some of the largest jury awards for children who sustained brain injury at birth in the state of Maryland (21 million jury award and 15.6 million jury award). Ms. Arfaa also regularly litigates cases in Georgia, Washington D.C., Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Arfaa graduated from Smith College in 1994 and the Syracuse University College of Law in 1997 with honors. She has devoted her career to litigation involving medical malpractice – the first three years defending doctors and hospitals against malpractice claims and the last twenty-five representing patients against doctors and hospitals. Her unique background has given her great insight into how malpractice claims are often defended. This insight has served her well in the courtroom as she has received many record-setting jury verdicts in the state.

Ms. Arfaa provides caring and exemplary representation for her clients. Through her tireless and compassionate representation, Ms. Arfaa has become one of the most successful plaintiff’s trial lawyers in the state and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for medical malpractice law. She is also recognized as a Top 50 Female Attorney and Top 100 Overall Attorney in Maryland by Super Lawyers, one of the top 100 trial lawyers in the nation by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and one of America’s Best Attorneys. Ms. Arfaa sits on the Advisory Board of Casey Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports critically ill children and their families throughout the time of illness. For her continuous efforts in aiding children and families in medical crisis, Casey Cares awarded Ms. Arfaa the Children of Champion Award for 2026.
